Invacare Action 4 NG Self Propelled Wheelchair

The new Action4 NG model from the Invacare range of wheelchairs offers a great deal of comfort and stability. It features a new crossbar frame which makes folding the chair much easier than previous models. The chair weighs only 8.3kg when folded up and can be stored in the boot of your car.

A truly adjustable lightweight crash tested wheelchair

The chair features a fully adjustable backrest, armrests and footrests, allowing users to adjust the position of these elements to suit their individual needs. One clever improvement is the ability to increase the seat depth by up to 5cm. Another useful feature to ensure good postural positioning is the rear wheel adjustment, with a choice of 20 positions that vary the wheelbase length and seat height thus changing the centre of gravity and effectively the back rest angle between 0° / 7° / 0° - 30° / – 6° - +24° range. It also includes a rear wheel adjustment system which allows the user to change the distance between the front and rear wheels, thereby altering the centre of gravity and adjusting the seating position. This ensures that the user remains comfortable throughout the day. The Action 4 is available in 15" 16" 17" 18" and 19" seat widths and is available in a choice of frame colours all with black nylon upholstery.
